First Do No Harm: the "safe supply scheme"
The Liberal government in Canada has introduced a new initiative known as the "safe supply scheme" in an effort to combat the ongoing opioid crisis. This initiative enables doctors to provide pharmaceutical-grade opioids to patients who are struggling with addiction, as a safer alternative to illicit street drugs.
