WHO's strange games: Is it exploiting the situation in Sudan to threaten the planet with a new pandemic?
The World Health Organization said it was assessing a new threat to public health after militants in Sudan seized a national laboratory holding samples of deadly diseases.
"We are concerned that those occupying the laboratory could be accidentally exposed to pathogens stored there," WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told a news conference in Geneva.
"WHO is seeking more information and conducting a risk assessment."
The nearly two weeks of civil fighting have killed hundreds, injured thousands and sparked a mass exodus of foreigners, while the UN has warned that a giant new refugee crisis could be brewing.
But the WHO appears to be seizing the situation for an additional threat of a new pandemic after it said militants had seized a national public laboratory in Khartoum, holding samples of diseases such as polio, measles and cholera.
On Tuesday, the WHO representative in Sudan, Nima Saeed Abid, told reporters that this had created an "extremely, extremely dangerous" situation.
"There is an enormous biohazard associated with occupying the central public health laboratory."
Olivier le Polain, WHO's incident manager for the Sudan response, told reporters that the agency was aware that there were samples stored in the laboratory of pathogens including measles, tuberculosis, cholera, polio and SARS CoV-2 , which causes the disease Covid-19.
"The assessment is ongoing to better understand what the public health threats might be with them, and of course, the risk of having untrained staff or untrained people in the lab," he said.
"We want to make sure that the people occupying the building are aware of the risks themselves and we will try to continue to communicate those risks."
He stressed, however, that "doing any kind of assessment right now ... is very difficult," noting that internet and phone lines are down and "communications are extremely difficult."

Ο Παγκόσμιος Οργανισμός Υγείας ανακοίνωσε ότι αξιολογεί μια νέα απειλή για τη δημόσια υγεία αφού μαχητές στο Σουδάν κατέλαβαν ένα εθνικό εργαστήριο που κρατούσε δείγματα θανατηφόρων ασθενειών.
«Ανησυχούμε ότι όσοι καταλαμβάνουν το εργαστήριο θα μπορούσαν να εκτεθούν κατά λάθος σε παθογόνα που είναι αποθηκευμένα εκεί», δήλωσε ο επικεφαλής του ΠΟΥ Τέντρος Αντανόμ Γκεμπρεγέσους σε συνέντευξη Τύπου στη Γενεύη.
«Ο ΠΟΥ αναζητά περισσότερες πληροφορίες και διενεργεί αξιολόγηση κινδύνου».
Οι σχεδόν δύο εβδομάδες αστικής μάχης σκότωσαν εκατοντάδες, τραυματίστηκαν χιλιάδες και πυροδότησε μαζική έξοδο αλλοδαπών, ενώ ο ΟΗΕ έχει προειδοποιήσει ότι μια γιγάντια νέα προσφυγική κρίση μπορεί να ετοιμάζεται.
Ωστόσο, ο ΠΟΥ φαίνεται να εκμεταλεύεται την κατάσταση για μια πρόσθετη απειλή νέας πανδημίας, αφού είπε ότι μαχητές είχαν καταλάβει ένα εθνικό δημόσιο εργαστήριο στο Χαρτούμ, κρατώντας δείγματα ασθενειών όπως η πολιομυελίτιδα, η ιλαρά και η χολέρα.
Την Τρίτη, ο εκπρόσωπος του ΠΟΥ στο Σουδάν Nima Saeed Abid είπε στους δημοσιογράφους ότι αυτό είχε δημιουργήσει μια «εξαιρετικά, εξαιρετικά επικίνδυνη» κατάσταση.
«Υπάρχει τεράστιος βιολογικός κίνδυνος που σχετίζεται με την κατάληψη του κεντρικού εργαστηρίου δημόσιας υγείας».

«Θέλουμε να βεβαιωθούμε ότι οι άνθρωποι που καταλαμβάνουν το κτίριο γνωρίζουν οι ίδιοι τους κινδύνους και θα προσπαθήσουμε να συνεχίσουμε να κοινοποιούμε αυτούς τους κινδύνους».
Υπογράμμισε ωστόσο ότι «το να κάνεις κάθε είδους αξιολόγηση αυτή τη στιγμή… είναι πολύ δύσκολο», επισημαίνοντας ότι οι γραμμές ίντερνετ και τηλεφώνου είναι εκτός λειτουργίας και «οι επικοινωνίες είναι εξαιρετικά δύσκολες».

Report: Fox News Fired Tucker Carlson for ‘Praising God and Rejecting Satan’
A Fox News insider claims the real reason Tucker Carlson was ousted by the network was due to a speech he gave on Friday in which he praised God and rejected Satan.
According to an anonymous insider who spoke with Vanity Fair, “God, spirituality and prayer” are all topics that “freaks Rupert Murdoch out.”
Fox News announced on Monday that Tucker’s time at the network had come to an abrupt end. Since the announcement, Fox News has refused to clarify the reason why Carlson was let go.
Vanity Fair reports that Tucker’s speech at the Heritage Foundation’s 50th Anniversary gala three days before was the final straw for Fox.
During the speech, Carlson warned that the battle for America was a war between “good” and “evil.”
“We should say that and stop engaging in these totally fraudulent debates…I’ve tried. That doesn’t work,” Carlson declared. “I have concluded it might be worth taking just 10 minutes out of your busy schedule to say a prayer for the future, and I hope you will,” he added.

According to Vanity Fair’s source, “That stuff freaks Rupert out. He doesn’t like all the spiritual talk.”
Summit.news reports: Apparently, Murdoch was triggered into dismissing Carlson because he was unnerved by a speech in which the former host promoted Christian values.
Fox Corp. CEO Lachlan Murdoch and Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott made the decision to give Carlson the boot on Friday night after the speech, although he wasn’t told until 10 minutes before the media found out.
“Rupert Murdoch was perhaps unnerved by Carlson’s messianism because it echoed the end-times worldview of Murdoch’s ex-fiancée Ann Lesley Smith,” writes Gabriel Sherman.
Murdoch reportedly cancelled his wedding with Smith because she had called Carlson a “messenger from God” and had started reading passages from the Book of Exodus during a dinner at Murdoch’s Bel Air vineyard where Carlson was present.
“Rupert just sat there and stared,” the source said, with the report suggesting that one of his motivations for canning Carlson was to remove his ex’s favorite host from the air.
“Fox fired their number one host for being too Christian,” commented Matt Walsh.
As we highlighted earlier, members of the military-industrial complex reacted with glee at Carlson’s exit, with one proclaiming, “Good riddance!”
As we document in the video below, there are a myriad of factors that fueled Carlson’s departure, prime amongst them his vehement opposition to deep state regime narratives.
