The huge 35 billion euro vaccine business with Pfizer is perhaps the biggest scandal in the history of the EU, as it seems that facts and figures concerning the huge vaccine market are being carefully concealed. Ursula von der Leyen has been the focus of an investigation into the text messages she exchanged with Albert Burla.
According to "Politico", MEPs will ask to examine the role of Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in the supply of vaccines and in the cost of the contracts signed by the European Commission with the pharmaceutical giants. The MEPs will request the control of all the contracts signed by the European Union with the pharmaceutical companies, but the main interest seems to concern the third and largest contract signed with Pfizer !
The President of the Commission on the coronavirus, Kathleen van Brempt said: "The European Union spent a lot of public funds on the production and purchase of vaccines during the pandemic", therefore " the European Parliament has the right to obtain full transparency about the details of these costs and the preliminary negotiations that led to them .'
According to the rules of the European Parliament the invitation will be sent to the president Roberta Metzola , who will then decide whether to ask von der Leyen to attend a hearing . Everything points to the fact that the head of the EU did not follow the existing rulebook to reach a preliminary agreement with the US multinational.
It is recalled that the role played by the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, in the secret and suspicious negotiations of the huge vaccine market against the pandemic has been sought since October by the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO), as part of an investigation against economic crime within the EU .E.
It is noted that the American newspaper "New York Times" first shed light on the suspicious vaccine market, in April 2021, with references to text messages exchanged between Ursula von der Leyen and Pfizer CEO Albert Burla regarding the purchase of up to 4, 2 billion doses of vaccines. Η τεράστια μπίζνα των 35 δισ. ευρώ των εμβολίων με τη Pfizer είναι ίσως το μεγαλύτερο σκάνδαλο στην ιστορία της ΕΕ, καθώς όπως όλα δείχνουν αποκρύπτονται επιμελώς στοιχεία και δεδομένα που αφορούν την τεράστια αγορά των εμβολίων. Η Ούρσουλα φον ντερ Λάιεν έχει βρεθεί στο επίκεντρο έρευνας για τα SMS που αντάλλαξε με τον Άλμπερτ Μπουρλά.
Σύμφωνα με το «Politico», οι ευρωβουλευτές θα ζητήσουν να εξεταστεί ο ρόλος της πρόεδρου της Κομισιόν Ούρσουλα Φον ντερ Λάιεν για την προμήθεια των εμβολίων και στο κόστος των συμβάσεων που υπέγραψε η Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή με τους φαρμακευτικούς κολοσσούς. Οι ευρωβουλευτές θα ζητήσουν τον έλεγχο όλων των συμβάσεων που έχει υπογράψει η Ευρωπαϊκή Ενωση με τις φαρμακευτικές, όμως το βασικό ενδιαφέρον φαίνεται να αφορά την τρίτη και μεγαλύτερη σύμβαση που υπογράφηκε με τη Pfizer!
Η προέδρος της Επιτροπής για τον κορωνοϊό, Κάθλιν βαν Μπρεμπτ δήλωσε: «Η Ευρωπαϊκή Ενωση δαπάνησε πολλούς δημόσιους πόρους για την παραγωγή και την αγορά εμβολίων κατά τη διάρκεια της πανδημίας», συνεπώς «το Ευρωκοινοβούλιο έχει το δικαίωμα να αποκτήσει πλήρη διαφάνεια σχετικά με τις λεπτομέρειες αυτών των δαπανών και τις προκαταρκτικές διαπραγματεύσεις που οδήγησαν σε αυτές».
Σύμφωνα με τους κανόνες της Ευρωβουλής η πρόσκληση θα σταλεί στην πρόεδρο Ρομπέρτα Μετσόλα, η οποία θα αποφασίσει στη συνέχεια αν θα ζητήσει από τη Φον ντερ Λάιεν να παραστεί σε ακρόαση. Όλα συνηγορούν στο ότι, η επικεφαλής της ΕΕ δεν ακολούθησε το υφιστάμενο εγχειρίδιο κανόνων για να καταλήξει σε μια προκαταρκτική συμφωνία με την πολυεθνική των ΗΠΑ.
Υπενθυμίζεται πως τον ρόλο που διαδραμάτισε η πρόεδρος της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής Ούρσουλα φον ντερ Λάιεν για τις μυστικές και ύποπτες διαπραγματεύσεις της τεράστιας αγοράς εμβολίων κατά της πανδημίας αναζητεί από τον Οκτώβριο η Ευρωπαϊκή Εισαγγελία (EPPO), στο πλαίσιο έρευνας κατά του οικονομικού εγκλήματος στους κόλπους της Ε.Ε.
Σημειώνεται ότι στο ύποπτο παζάρι των εμβολίων πρώτη έριξε φως η αμερικανική εφημερίδα «New York Times», τον Απρίλιο του 2021, με αναφορές σε sms που αντάλλαξε η Ούρσουλα φον ντερ Λάιεν με τον διευθύνοντα σύμβουλο της Pfizer Αλμπερτ Μπουρλά για την αγορά έως και 4,2 δισ. δόσεων εμβολίων. Σύμφωνα με στοιχεία που δόθηκαν στη δημοσιότητα, η επίμαχη συμφωνία θα μπορούσε να κοστίσει μέχρι και 35 δισ. ευρώ στην Ε.Ε., ενώ σε πολλά κράτη-μέλη καταγράφηκε αδικαιολόγητο πλεόνασμα δόσεων.
