Several major plastic manufacturers are taking the Trudeau government to court for implementing a ban on several single-use plastics.
The $29-billion industry is already suing the government for listing plastic as toxic under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act. The new lawsuit hopes to prevent the incoming ban and allow the continued sale of single-use plastic products.
The suit was filed by a coalition of plastic manufacturers, including DOW and NOVA Chemicals, and a few small packaging companies based in Ontario and in the United States.
In June, the Trudeau government unveiled details of its commitment to ban some single-use plastic items as part of its effort to achieve zero plastic waste by 2030.
The government will ban six common plastic products: single-use cutlery, stir sticks, straws, polystyrene food containers, six-pack rings and checkout bags.
“A person must not manufacture or import single-use plastic checkout bags, single-use plastic cutlery, single-use plastic foodservice ware or single-use plastic stir sticks.” staff wrote in a report ‘Single-use Plastics Prohibition Regulations.’
“Canada cannot meet its zero plastic waste goal without the participation of all Canadian households, businesses and institutions.” wrote staff.
Enforcement of new regulations will include “site visits, review of records, reusable product testing (if applicable), and review of written transit documents,” said the report. “the following responses are available to deal with alleged violations: warnings, directions, tickets, ministerial orders, environmental protection compliance orders, injunctions, and prosecutions.”
Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault’s office offered Canadians advice on how to comply with the government’s ban on single-use plastics, including the use of alternatives such as wooden cutlery, paper straws and beverage containers shaped to be consumed immediately.
“Encouraging customers to bring their own containers or developing a deposit and refund system are options that would reduce the amount of single-use plastic food packaging and foodservice ware.” wrote staff in ‘Guidance for Selecting Alternatives to Single-use Plastics’.
“Another option is to engage with local recycling facilities to determine which plastics are recyclable,” said the guide. “Some alternatives can be plant-based or fibre-based.” wrote the report.
A 2011 research paper produced by the Northern Ireland Assembly found that it “takes more than four times as much energy to manufacture a paper bag as it does to manufacture a plastic bag.”
“30,000 cotton bags can be packed into a 20-foot container, but the same container will accommodate 2.5 million plastic carrier-bags. Therefore, to transport the same number of jute or cotton bags 80x more ships would be required than for plastic bags, using 80x more fuel, using 80x more road space and emitting 80x more CO2.” wrote the paper.

When this was figured out, it did further damage to the badly hurt relations between the Liberal government and Canadians, and there were talks that the ArriveCAN app was actually made in line with the WEF’s Digital Identity program. Though this connection was played down earlier, succeeding actions by Trudeau like his plan to cut fertilizer use for the purpose of emissions, which is one of the plans in the WEF’s Great Reset showed that the ArriveCAN may truly have been what it was suspected to be. A trial for the WEF’s Digital Identity program.
Now the privacy commissioner is looking into the issue. In an email dated July 27, the Office of Canada’s Privacy Commissioner said that the office had received and was currently investigating a complaint which brought concerns with respect to the collection of personal information through ArriveCAN and subsequent use of that information by the government

Apparently, Justin Trudeau would continue to steal away and mercilessly put a roof over the freedom of the people of Canada, destroying our quality of life, and now in a rather horrific manner, this guy is going to implement his crazy plans aimed at reducing food production in Canada. And you know, it's just really insane; I mean, just how exactly did we get to this point in Justin Trudeau's Canada?.
As a member of the G 7, Canadian provinces apparently are expected to be great cities, but in a rather insane and ironic manner, Canada now has its major airport tagged as the “world’s worst.” And there are the Trudeau Liberals who, of course, should be great custodians of a great country that Canada is supposed to be still buying chairs for citizens waiting for passports in a seemingly never-ending queue rather than efficiently devising a means to issue the citizens their passports. And what's rather more painful is that Justin Trudeau, in the face of all this mess, has been flying around the country like a deranged bird from one place to another. But, of course, it's yet again not really surprising; I mean, he's obviously not feeling the pains and frustrations that the majority of Canadian travelers are facing at the airports due to his status.
And on another side, there are the probings into possible interference of Justin Trudeau and his liberal gangs in the famous Nova Scotia mass murder police investigation as well as the illegal invocation of the Emergencies Act, which apparently has been endlessly frustrated with several Trudeau Liberals' political theatrics.

Έφυγε ξαφνικά από τη ζωή το βράδυ του Σαββάτου
Έφυγε ξαφνικά από τη ζωή το βράδυ του Σαββάτου 45χρονος στην Αμφιλοχία την ώρα που βρισκόταν σε φιλικό του σπίτι.
Ο 45χρονος στις 23:00 το βράδυ σύμφωνα με το e-maistros.gr κατέρρευσε και οδηγήθηκε χωρίς τις αισθήσεις του στο κέντρο υγείας Αμφιλοχίας όπου διαπιστώθηκε ο θάνατος του.
Η σορός του 45 χρόνου διακομίσθηκε στην Πάτρα για νεκροψία – νεκροτομή για να ρίξουν φως στα αίτια του θανάτου του.
Ο άτυχος άνδρας ήταν κάτοικος Πατρών και στην Αμφιλοχία είχε βρεθεί φιλοξενούμενος σε φιλικό σπίτι.
