On October 14, 2022, Ottawa City councilors Mathieu Fleury and Catherine McKenney testified at #poec. They spent hours during their performance repeating themselves about unreported acts of vicious assaults, harassment, and microaggressions by protestors and members of the #freedomconvoy.
According to Mathieu Fleury, #ottawa Police Chief Peter Solely and the tow truck drivers unwilling to honor their contracts with the city are to blame. Allegedly, by February 7, 2022, the protest became so volatile both councilors had no choice but to vote "YES" on a motion - that would enter them into discussions with the #federal#government about using the Emergencies Act.
The #emergencyact is to only be used in the most extreme situations - and when all other options have been explored, tested, and have failed. New evidence has emerged that city councilors Mathieu Fleury & Catherine McKenney did not explore all the options.

Falleció en la noche de este sábado el cantante haitiano Michael Benjamin, mejor conocido como Mikaben, en momentos en que participaba en un concierto en el estadio Accor Arena de París, Francia.
Medios internacionales señalan que el artista de 41 años colapsó poco después de las 11 de la noche, tras su actuación en el concierto de regreso del grupo haitiano de compas Carimi, por lo que su muerte ha sido atribuida a un infarto.
Mickael Guirand, integrante de la banda salió al escenario para anunciar la culminación del evento y pidiendo oraciones por su compatriota.

Michael Benjamin, who was better known by his stage name, Mikaben, died Saturday after collapsing on stage in Paris while performing with the Haitian konpa band Carimi. He was 41. “This is a shock,” Haiti-born hip hop artist and Grammy winner Wyclef Jean y told the Miami Herald.
