The CDC is warning that a rare, serious condition in children may be on the rise this fall . It's called acute flaccid myelitis, AFM. It causes weakness in the arms or legs and can lead to permanent paralysis!
They sound the alarm for parents to pay attention to the symptoms and when they notice any of the list that the organization has made public to rush to a doctor immediately to prevent the worst.
